How anyone close to the program could be friends with GG is beyond me.

Guess you didnt watch that 2012 offense?

Guess you didn't read the part of my post that said Cam looks like the real deal.

Also guess you don't remember the LSU OL that was a mash unit for much of 2012. Also guess you didn't watch two LSU WRs catching almost anything thrown in their direction in 2013.

I want the LSU offense to be very good, but I am not ready to give Cam the keys to the LSU football car based off 2013 alone.

The stats and updates Les gives at the press conferences have no basis in fact.

Wat??

So both quarterbacks didn't complete 12/18 passes for 174 yds and 1 td?

If anyone buys any of those stats that Les spews out after scrimmages, you are an idiot. Les prints out those stats at 7:00 AM on the day of the scrimmages.

The worst thing that could happen to these two is that one of them throws a pick 6 or interception the first 2-3 drives.

If that happens, I think Les gets shell shocked and you see him 2008 turtle up again. We then proceed to run the ball 75 times a game.

We threw the ball all over the field in 2008. Only many times to the other team. You sure you are an LSU fan?

The first 4 games of 2008, we averaged 29 passes a game, the last four games we averaged 32 passes a game.

I know it's Guilbeau but this just doesn't make sense. D like '11..but nothing to say about D-Line other than 'meh'.

Guilbeau really tells what he thinks unlike most other reporters who cover the Tigers who are actually an extension of LSU Sports Information.

What he says makes more sense than all the hype around our very young team. Prepare yourself for an untypical LSU year.....everyone has one now and then. Next year lots better...

Miles inability to recruit a top QB looms to doom this season more than any other.

I do not think a QB manager will work in the SEC any longer. Must have a playmaker and we do not have one.

Should be fun to watch but something tells me the stars are not aligned for the Tigers this year.

These are all literally things that someone would say if they haven't watched a second of practice and had absolutely zero inside "scoop"

Agreed.

Every year, Miles should have a game-prepped, experienced QB waiting in the wings. No time to break in a new QB every few years like every other college coach has to do.

Nope. Completely different standard for Miles.

Who wants these two guys anyway? They were both 2 star QBs out of HS.

Saban has a 6 star QB with three years of experience ready to take McCarron's place today.

Let's pray that at least one of our QBs is as good as advertised.

If not, we could be screwed not only this season, but potentially next year as well.

Jennings wasn't recruited by cam. He was already on campus by the time cam was hired

Both qbs had their pick of sec schools. I don't understand this thought. If not LSU they'd be playing for a rival.

There was no turtling in 2008. That was the problem. Crowton kept having Jarrett lee throw the ball when Charles Scott and keiland Williams sat on the bench

You don't know what we have.

Harris is a play maker. He was in high school and looked great in the spring game. Chill out
