Since the rioting started, we've discovered the innocent child had just robbed a store, the cop was attacked and had a busted-up eye which would surely imply he feared for his life, and the autopsy shows the kid was shot from the front which contradicts some eyewitness accounts that he was running away when shot? No matter your political views or race how could you look at this so far and conclude that brown was a victim? Honestly curious.

more importantly, how can a group that is disproportionately targeted by the police, support a system where we indict and convict without evidence or a burden of proof? if that system hurts anybody, it's that group of people

The key eyewitness for the family is the accessor to robbery, which still hasn't been charged after admitting to it.

The whole thing shows you how far we have sunk in such a short period of time with these hacks controlling our government. The only thing that makes sense to me is that this is the perfect deflection of Obama getting his arse handed to him on the world stage. Nothing better than a race war at home to deflect the negative attention abroad.

Their position re: police brutality and militarization is similar to the position many so called libertarians had here not too long ago. Funny how things change.

It's not supposed to make any sense. It's all meant for the reason of affecting the emotions and screwing up the brain.

JMHO.

The media is trying to recreate Selma in 1964. They are all too young to have been there but are trying to convince themselves and you that they are part of something just as significant.

I'm a liberal, and from what I've learned, I believe the shooting was justified.

The key witness recanted his story after the autopsy results showed he lied. This is the guy that should be strung up.

Think about it. If he had told the truth from the beginning This would of been just another thug getting killed for being a thug and no one would of heard of Ferguson.

The media and powers that be should interview this guy and have him admit the truth and play it on every TV.

So you don't understand why one group, based on their political leanings, doesn't see your version of events when most of your version of events is based on hearsay, conjecture, or unsubstantiated rumors? Maybe Brown is the victimm here. Maybe Wilson is. I don't know, there's not enough info for anyone to say, but that hasn't stopped you from convicting Brown and being just as guilty as the side you don't understand.

It's about hatred at the core. A lot of people disguise their hate by pointing the finger.

blessed are the peacemakers

It's all in the eye of the beholder, but I think some of you are slightly exaggerating the media's take on this. They have reported the autopsy, they have reported the fact that there is evidence the officer suffered injuries and they have reported the robbery.

The main focus of the story has been the civil unrest and looting. Along with that, of course, they have allowed the protesters a voice on tv, but that goes along with reporting the story.

Hate to put it so bluntly, but it is indicative of an inner-city culture where nothing is the fault or responsibility of those that live in that culture, and everything should be provided (given) to them by the government. This culture has now taken root for 3-4 generations (at least) and it is reinforced daily by the media.

I don't know what it will take to break this cycle, but at some point something has to give or it will blow up.

Because there is an election in November and the media needs to gin up the black vote for the dems.

I think the cop was justified but what you're saying here is false. The preliminary autopsy is inconclusive on this. Saw this on Megyn Kelly. Could be a few possibilities.

You're honestly wrong.
