Browns and Redskins - Who is really each team's best QB?

In my opinion Cousins and Hoyer/Shaw each give their respective team a better chance to win. But will the coaches let their draft statuses blind them to that?
As a saints fan I really don't care, but it's interesting to me, as I think that Cousins is a better QB and leader than RG3, and both Hoyer and Shaw should be ahead of Manziel.

As Redskins fan who watches every game hate to break it to you but you are wrong. Cousins was awful last season when he played. He had one good game 2 years ago and decent 2nd half vs ATL last year after stinking the joint up. A major factor to boths poor play last year was the Redskins awful O-line which has been a problem for about 8 years.

Shaw
Jesus. People really need to pump the brakes with this shite. Shining against 2nd team defense in a quarter of football does not make one a starting QB.

Cousins was the best QB on Monday night.

In both preseason games Manziel looked better than Hoyer. However on Monday night they both looked like crap, manziel just looked like a little better crap.
Shaw did look the best, but it was against scrubs in the 4th quarter of a preseason game.

What are you talking about? Cousins is pretty bad.

RG3 is a better "talent" but IMO Cousins is a better long term fit for that franchise. RG3 is going to have a very short career if he keeps taking the hits he does.

when rg3 is hurt again cousins will get to shine

was just going to post that. He proved Monday night he still doesn't get it....a trait that I called previously.

Cousins is better than RG the Turd.
But the Redskins paid a hefty price for RG3 and will continue to throw him out there as long as they can

Except he's been rated terribly by PFF and other sites.

Cousins hasn't played many meaningful snaps
RGSheet however has played 2 seasons... after his rookie year ESPN made him out to be a Top 5 QB and he got all those endorsements, than he sucks in year 2
He peaked in Year 1, downhill from here

One of the things I hate the most in the nfl is giving players preferential treatment (ie depth chart status) because of where they were drafted. Once a player is on the team, how he got there should be irrelevant.
But if I were a browns fan I'd be breathing a sigh of relief that Hoyer will start - but I wonder if anyone within the team is going to address the gamecock in the room: Connor Shaw looked better than both the veteran and fellow rookie.
I always liked Shaw - he and Lattimore made SCar the only other SEC team I kind of like.

Manziel self-admittedly doesn't know the offense well enough yet.
Cousins is probably only slightly behind RGIII, but RGIII is the current face of the franchise and they won't bench him unless he sucks. Last year he wasn't healthy, so that doesn't count against him.

RGSheet just isn't good
The reason him and Kapernick had good 2012 seasons was becuase of the read option... but guess what, NFL defenses don't take long to adjust... and in 2013 Kapernick has a bad year and so does RGSheet
Neither RG3 or Kapernick are good, their main gimmick that opened up their offense, the read option, isn't as effective anymore so they have been exposed
