it was definitely premeditated and if found guilty, he will deserve the punishment.
When do you testify? The prosecution has this in the bag. The defense might as well take a plea deal knowing you're the star witness.

This is going to be tough to prove.
Seems you'd need more than motive to convict of something like this.

That doesn't fricking matter, he did. If he was still alive, do you think he'd say "hey, sorry about your kids, but I didn't mean to do it!" I'm sure the kids' mother is consoled by the fact that he didn't ACTIVELY set out to kill them.
what does this have to do with the law?

He ACTIVELY was the driver when he plowed into them drunk. He wasn't PASSIVELY driving, was he? (unless he was so drunk he was asleep at the wheel).
oh lord, I'm not even going to attempt to argue this drivel.

separate your emotions from the law if you want an actual discussion on this. you just sound like an idiot.

You're the one appointing himself judge, jury, and executioner like you're the guy's brother or something.

Some laws are far older and run far deeper than those men have set to paper.
The shedding of innocent blood, accident or no, is one of those.
If on a jury, I wouldn't convict him.
Same with the situation of that child molester who kidnapped someone and got his brains blown out by the dad.
Sometimes a crime calls for swift justice at the hands of those who have the ancient rights.

Me? You're the one dominating every single page of this thread. You're also well known to be a drama queen on this site

I should definitely act like a menopausal woman instead. my mistake

He should be convicted and go to prison. But, in a similar situation, I too would have murdered a drunk driver who had killed my two sons. It's a crime I'd be willing to pay the price for.

I'm not the one arguing based on emotions. that's you.
your "not uh, you are" retorts do nothing to prove otherwise.

Are you seriously trying to compare a guy driving drunk and accidentally killing 2 kids with someone that actually sets out on purpose to hurt/abuse a child??
You can't go out and kill someone because they drove drunk and killed your children.

You would be safe if I was on the jury. All it takes is 1.

Jury Nullification?

it's not petty, the title clearly states your opinion is that he is guilty.
if you're a lawyer, you probably shouldn't be determining the results of the case before the trial starts.
