I remember watching USC play at Oregon State in the Pete Carrol years. The game was so foggy that you could barely see any of the game. Not so much a strange night, but a strange game indeed.

I was at that game. We had the worst seats...corner endzone, field level - behind the USC band...

Turned out to be the best seats as they were one of the few vantage points where you could actually see the game. But even at field level - once the team crossed the 50 - the view was lost again.

There was almost no cheering in the game because most people couldn't see shite. Strange experience. Foggy, silent...eerie..

Pulling for Hawaii at 2AM on the last night of the 2003 season, because our getting to the MNC game depended on it.

I thought it was the Syracuse game that weekend that was what cinched the LSU Sugar Bowl.

The 2008 Iron Bowl was similar. The game was at 2:30 in Tuscaloosa. There was a heavy fog. You could see the field fine, but you could not see anything outside the stadium. Really made it feel like the football game was the only thing going on.

I was 5 yards away from the aTm TD to end the game, as I was helping K State out that day in the dome.

I did not even know about the Miami game until the next day.

The delayed storm okie st game, because of said degenerates, and the Baylor v. UW bowl game (Alamo bowl game I think) again because of $$. Just kept hammering the live over, fun times.

Looking fwd to that first gambling thread, the true indication that the season is almost here.

What year at the Indapendance Bowl it snowed so hard you couldn't see across the field? My daughter and husband went to the game thinking all they needed to wear was a sweater. They left at half.

Maybe not on the level of some of the stuff in this thread, but I remember being sky high for real football the day of the Thursday night Oregon/Boise Blount game.

Head to the bar after pre-gaming watching what turned out to be a terrible game compared to what I expected, and within the first half hour at the bar Blount goes insane. Made for a fun experience.

End of '07 regular season. We had, I believe, lsumatt pointing out how it was possible to get into the BCS NC game if the dominoes fell properly, watched them start to fall, and then watching Pittsburgh pull the upset over West Virginia to complete the improbable set of events necessary to give LSU a chance at what seemed impossible after the OT loss to Arky. Then watching all the polls start rolling in and wtf we're going to the 'ship!

I was at the Hornets-Mavs game that night, Peja hit a 3 at the buzzer to send it to OT where the Hornets won. I couldn't get any cell reception in the arena so I had no idea what was going on at the time. As soon as I got to my car my phone started blowing up. WVU and Mizzou were going down and talking heads were saying it was going to be OSU vs LSU. I couldn't believe what I was hearing
