also, it should be noted, that every single time ND and LSU go head-to-head for a HS recruit that ND lands the player (JUST LOL AT GETTING OUTRECRUITED BY AN IRRELEVANT FOOTBALL PROGRAM)

Well ND should just target LSU's entire class every year. I'm sure the result would be the same and ND would then have consistently better classes than they do now

So did LSU "not belong" in 2011? Ohio State in 06? Oklahoma in 04? I'll even be fair and include us, did we "not belong" against Nebraska in 95?

I just answered that in the post you quoted.

Did you go into a coma in 1985 and just woke up? Notre Dame hasn't stolen a recruit from LSU in years.

I had to laugh when a friend/ND alum at work told me this past December that his "inside sources" told him that ND was getting Leonard Fournette. I got him to admit that ND was recruiting Fournette hard so that later on he wouldn't be able to back track and claim that ND didn't really recruit Fournette. I then told him that ND isn't even being mentioned. He was certain though that it was "done deal" for ND.

ND fans are hilariously delusional.

I'm sure if you try to fix your post one more time you can get Dayne Crist and not Crust

On the cell didn't feel like looking him up and I don't follow recruiting much anymore.

He's solid. 4* consensus player. Tillery or something like that

I love how easily they are willing to vacate wins. After all, what is there to vacate? No division title, no conference title, no national title, no bowl win. They won 12 games ad don't have a single ring to show for it.

ND has had about one year of actual relevance (2012) in 10 yrs or so (granted they were only relevant bc they took advantage of their typical 'tough' schedule) and they have zero to show for it. What a joke.

That the majority of college football fans didn't believe they should be in, and we were proven right.

Please tell me who should have been in over Notre Dame. Oregon had a loss. Not only did it have a loss, it lost to a common opponent that ND beat. Oregon beat zero 10-win BCS conference teams. ND beat two. Kansas State also had a loss (by 28 to an 8-win team). It only beat one 10-win team (common opponent with ND: at Oklahoma. KSU won by five. ND won in Norman by 17.) Who are your other options? Ohio State was ineligible. It was basically the Gators, who also had a loss. And they sure looked great in their bowl game.

Many teams have been dominated in championship games. That doesn't mean they weren't great teams or didn't deserve to be there. It means they were owned by the best. LSU in 2011, OSU in 2006. Even the Broncos suffered a worse loss in the Super Bowl this past year than ND did to Bama. What's funny is that I see people argue Georgia would have smoked ND. Perhaps. But people also seem to forget, like Notre Dame, Georgia lost a game by 28 points in 2012, too. Sometimes you play poorly or a team rises up. It's sports.

When was the last time ND won a big time game that was relevant? And some shitty Big 10 school doesn't count.

Does a good Big 10 team count? Michigan State went 13-1 last season. I can tell you that loss was not to Ohio State in the Big 10 CG nor Stanford in the Rose Bowl.

In 2012, ND beat 12-2, Pac 12 Champ and Rose Bowl Champ Stanford. Also(as mentioned above) won in Norman against No. 8 Oklahoma by three scores.

It's Jerry Tillery. He's all-in on ND but it's definitely not a lock because his parents are really big for LSU and could sway him. Which is really weird because normally with recruits, it's the opposite, as the kid wants to stay close to home while the parents try to get the kid to go to ND.
