I'm getting a destiny login error now "Destiny servers are not available. Dismiss this message and try again."
I swear, Bungie fricking hates me.
ETA: Internet is fully functional and working. It's either a PSN or Bungie issue.
ETA2: Restarted again, now getting "Unable to connect to PSN."
Again, Internet working properly.
ETA3: Now I'm getting "External authentication error" from the Destiny App and the same errors from before on PSN.
What the fricking hell!

So after the death singer dies, you do not get the checkpoint. Have to clear all the remaining adds to get it.

Didn't get an exotic, but I was just noting that there is somewhat of a reason besides shards to do VoG

Well that makes me feel better about dying right after I killed her. Still, though, what killed me was her liturgy so I don't get it I wasn't making it out of there alive, though.

best way is to do the mission fist of crota, sparrow past all the stuff at the front and right inside is a blade of crota. kill it and if it drops it will show on the side like raid gear does.

I didn't notice before that it was arc damage on the exotic, so it will have some use. Too bad you have to beat the hard mode to evolve it to the final form.

It upgrades to an exotic that does exploding thrall damage when you kill with precision. While the actual bullet damage will suck that seems like the ultimate crowd control gun.

No, I purchased the 1 year PSN+ after my 30 day trial period that I got with my Destiny/PS4 bundle expired. It ended up being a connection issue between the modem and my wifi-router.
FYI, Unknown gave me the Crota Checkpoint so we can bypass the nonsense fight prior to Crota that doesn't give Jackshit.
