Probably NoBD for me today. We have open house at 6 and I'll probably be stuck there until 8 or so. I imagine I'll be so tired I'll collapse when I get home.

ETA: when I was on my way out the school my principal told me if I came back smelling like beer or Listerine he'd know I drank and he'd fire my arse on the spot

I think he was joking. But I'm not sure...

Same here. But I'll only be there briefly. Long enough to try Little Sumpin Extra though.

I will be going to an Ale Apothecary tasting this evening at The Beermongers. Tonight is the release of "Be Still" - Paul Arney's first attempt at a dark beer. I will give my opinion of it later.

When can we expect Lagunitas stuff to hit the shelves here in BR?

No bottles until early October. A couple offerings will be on draft until then.

Had lunch at Butcher yesterday and while I was there 3 Lagunitas reps walked in and dropped off 2 6-packs to the bartender. Haven't been to Stein's or Rouse's though to see if bottles are on the shelves.

NBD yet. Did go on a 4 mile run that was fricking brutal. Snuck into my friend's apartment complex on the cool-down walk home to jump in the pool tho. Wish I had the key to his house so I could've had a beer as well.

I brought a 6 pack of their Censored Rich copper ale (aka the Kronik) from Texas to some of my N.O. buddies. It was enjoyed.

Yet another example that craft beer drinkers are funnier than BMC drinkers.
