Anyone has any experience with this place? I'm thinking about sending my two kids there to get them started with learning how to play basketball.

I've heard good things, especially for younger kids.

Charles teaches good fundamentals. Ball handling, passing, and defense. He won't baby the kids.

Facility sucks. Had a kid play AAU tourney there last year. They play ball on a tile court.
You heard that right. Tile.

Despite BigEd's bad experience, everyone I know who has had a kid there likes the place. Charles Tracey is a phenomenal athlete and is an "old school" coach. He's big on fundamentals and mental toughness. Your child will NOT be coddled! Everyone does NOT get a trophy in Charles' world. There are winners, and there are losers. He's a tough love kind of guy.
But don't get me wrong, he's a great guy. He can be a dick when the situation warrants it, but he's a nice guy under the occasionally (usually?) gruff exterior.

Drop them off at the courts in the toughest hood in the city. That's what Billy Cunningham's dad did and he turned out alright.
