Ponamsky gets drilled here because he says things people don't wanna hear, and when those things turn out to be true, it's like the tards here blame him lol.

I'm sorry that you're major concern is that LSU has moved on from the 15th ranked total defense in the country. 3rd ranked in the SEC.
They weren't great all last season, and there's definitely room for improvement. But to say its a major concern is disingenuous. The big concern to me is the youth at key positions all over the field.

Pomanski is right about the DTs. I said this in another thread that if the DTs don't occupy and the guards and they get to the next level then it doesn't matter if you have the next Ray Lewis at MLB, he won't be effective. That doesn't absolve Welter of his own deficiencies, but don't expect Beckwith or Garrett to become world beaters if the DTs can't keep them clean.

My most concern is at defense tackle. If they step up we will have a descent defense.

What about the OLBers? We have talented guys like Debo and Louis that could see the field this year and bring a lot more speed to the position. I can't even remember who the OLBer opposite Kwon Alexander was last year.

I know we're splitting hairs but the scoring defense was 21st. Not sure why people still go by yards allowed
