Yeah I was coming to post the Spencer article, my guess is it will be 6 months.

As much as I enjoyed AC4, besides the setting, there is nothing exciting about what is shown in that video.

AC Unity details
Thank god
Sounds like there isn't a large amount of co-op for those worried and you can play them yourself.

What ensued was a fairly typical tailing sequence - a mission type often derided in open world games - but there was a twist. Mercifully there’s no mission fail in Unity if you fall too far behind or lose sight of your target. Instead, you could perhaps climb to an elevated point to see if you can locate them again, or simply abandon the tail entirely and pursue an alternative such as hunting down the thief with the key, or even just head to the cathedral and see if there's a back door or some other way to sneak in.
Thank god

The second half of Assassin’s Creed Unity’s Gamescom demo was a hands-on play through of one the game’s heist missions, played in co-op. There will be seven heist missions in the game, triggered by certain characters found in the game’s map and seamlessly pulling other players into your game (or none at all, should you choose to tackle the heist solo). According to the developers these heists will have a lot of replayability since the placement and numbers of enemies is randomised, and certain paths will be blocked or unblocked each time you play.

Apparently enemy behaviour has been retooled so that they won’t hang back and take turns to attack you like goons in a Bruce Lee film, instead they’ll take advantage of their numbers to try and shoot or stab you in the back while you’re in the midst of parrying an attack from the front.

For the most part I managed to avoid enemy confrontation by holding down the left trigger which puts Arno into a crouched stealth walk

Anyone here getting The Sims 4? They released the Create a sim demo on Origin yesterday for the public (free). I downloaded it last night and I had a blast creating Sims. Normally I would take about 5-10 minutes and rush through creating them on old games but last night I spent about an hour creating one family. It's incredible how much CAS has improved.

dragon Age gameplay
Looks like the streamlined the combat a bit. That's good. I like the tactical combat but Origins was a little slow paced with it at times. It's a few years out of date so that could be one reason why.

Well I was tired of carrying your arse
eta: not sure if germans but Fable Legends is coming to steam September 12
Bloodborne to be more open to other players but still challenging
Loyalists are bound to be upset by any changes made. I welcome them since I wasn't a fan of the Souls series.

I hope they address the cooperative system, it's quite impossible to co-op with someone you know

Well, to be fair, I've also added new trailers for the witcher, borderlands, Shadow Realms, BF: hardline, and some others.

I do agree that with DS2, they focused a bit on player death and difficulty (even in their advertising). There's nothing wrong with hard difficulty and dying a lot, but it shouldn't be the focus of the design. It'll come naturally from designing something people want to play.

Ds1 is the GOAT
Ds2 sucked.
Bloodborne looks amazing

Supposedly they've said this about Dark Souls 2 also.

You can see there HUD for the first time -- HP and stamina and enemy lifebars. It's interesting that the gun does little to no damage, I like that it's basically a shield in this game. I can tell they watched a lot of hammer horror movies.
