Any place that you can get a meal for twenty dollars is not a "restaurant", it's just fast food for trash and poor people.

Nice try though.

I'm serious, if a restaurant has more than one location and has plates under $21, I get sick from eating it

I ask because I frequent a place where tons of people get their good comped for the most ridiculous shite. I was thinking it has to suck to do that if the margins are so small.

Small price to pay in hopes of retaining loyalty and avoiding bad publicity. (Urbanspoon & Yelp reviews, word of mouth, etc)

Depends on what you order. $20 worth of a choice Sirloin, not much. $20 worth of potato skins and draft beer, ALOT.

places like mcdonalds and taco bell make most of their profit from drinks
this

The hamburgers are just to get you in the door

But the profits on drinks and most sides are HUGE. That's why they always "And what will you have to drink?" and "You want fries with that?" you.

People on the OT have no idea what the difference is between gross profit and net profit.

No they're not restaurants, and I wish people like you would spend their ebt credits on something other than poboys and forties. Some of us pay for that through taxes.

I'm sure the fining dining restaurants in NOLA with 3 course lunch specials for $20 totally agree with you.
