An officer letting such a stupid thing escalate to a killing? SUSPICIOUS.
From the time you are born there are rules. Rules in your house that you dont agree with but your parents make you follow them, rules at school that seem dumb but if you break them there are consequences , rules at your job that suck but to stay employed you follow them, and rules (laws) in society that if you break them you have to face them.
Ive been in that officers position before. Something small that starts to escalate. You know if you let it go everyone walks away safely but this guy will be 10x harder to deal with the next time. Im not big by any stretch of the imagination so nobody is intimidated by me. I pride myself on when it comes to talking down situations ive had a good success rate. But some times it gets past that point faster than you can stop it

We got a guy on the ground that might stop at steak n shake. Maybe he can try and talk some sense into them....

Another problem, is these guys get paid dog crap wages, put up with crap, and aren't properly trained on how to deescalate a situation. Its high time they get paid better, and are trained better.
Many US Police officers are getting training in Israel now (post 9/11). Explains why this shyt looks 3rd world.

The next time Mike is alive to break the law. And he should be because he walking down the street! Isn't part of being a cop picking your battles?

Do you have a link with proof that this is what actually happened? Or is this just another tired thin blue line what if scenario that only implements the alleged criminal and offers no possible part of guilt on the officer's behalf?

no, there isn't. it's the "whitey is always holding us down" type of posts that just make him look like a fricking moron.

Unfortunately no. I wish I could decide when I wanted to deal with a crackhead and when I didnt. The officer gave the guy a lawful command. Should the officer back down from everybody that becomes confitational?

He didn't handle his posts earlier very well. I think his current posts are much better. That's all.

First of all does it require some power trip cop to show his arse like is being said happened by some? Dealing with black inner city kids is a whole different animal that white suburban kids.

My bad, I dont know that was his exact words. Report was that the deceased refused the officers lawful command. I apologize for putting a real world spin on it

This is a lot less impressive to non-LEOs than it is to LEOs.

Orly? Do explain how it's different.

What "whitey is holding us down" post did I do? Some people referred to Mike Brown as a kid, then others refuted this as he was adult. I posted a link to a psychological study that shows black children may be viewed as older and more responsible than they appear to be

So the eyewitness is credible?

So the police just standing by as people are ransacking private businesses in a major city isn't an example of them picking their battles? You are so full of shite.
