Keeping Guacamole from turning brown

Anyone have any tricks for keeping guacamole from turning brown? Costco sells Wholly Guacamole for really cheap but it comes in a HUGE tub as opposed to a bunch of little ones. Definitely wont eat a tub in one sitting and it turns brown shortly after air gets to it. Not worth vacuum packing it IMO. Ideas?

Try google. There are a number of little tricks out there for storage to keep it from turning until the next time you eat it. I looked it up not too long ago for homemade guac.

When mine turns brown, I just stir it up and the brown goes away.
But I ususally knock out a bowl in one sitting
Dat super food!

according to google...put a layer of water on top.
I've tried the plastic wrap and it works for a lil while.

A little line juice goes well w avacodo. I'm not saying drown it, just add a little to it and mix it in. Or don't and eat your brown guacamole

Or just scoop the brown from the top.

Why don't you just buy whole avocados as you need them?

We usually keep several, and use one at a time as needed and finish that bad boy off pretty easily. I like the line juice though, so we add it even though it won't have time to brown

Y'all add anything else to yours? We usually chop up and onion and tomato and add that and a little cilantro. In a pinch you can drain a can of Rotel and add instead. Really good stuff. Avacodo is a great snack

No doubt, fresh squeezed lime juice in homemade guac is key for me. + diced onion, jalapeno, cumin, salt, pepper, cilantro.
