^A Cement Tanker Trailer; it's full of dry Portland Cement powder, it is used to deliver the powdered dry cement from the Cement mill to Ready-Mixed Concrete plants.
^A Concrete Mixer Truck
^A Volumetric Mixer Truck (it mixes Concrete on site)
^A tow behind concrete trailer mixer, preloaded (usually) with up to two cubic yards of concrete.
I don't know anyone in or around the ready-mix industry who calls a concrete mixer truck a cement mixer. Almost everybody outside the industry does though.

its amazing how many people in this thread are admitting they're blue collar.
I'm not blue collar but I know the difference.

not that there is anything wrong with that.

Who knew my troll would devolve into such details about concrete hauling.
Troll on highway, troll on along, troll on daddy till you get back home....troll on 18 wheeler (concrete truck) troll on.

I am not in that industry any more but I wasn't blue collar when I was.
I started in commercial sales and after five years was commercial sales manager over the Atlanta Division which included a fleet of 360 concrete trucks and 24 plants and 33 sales reps. I was promoted to VP of Sales and held that position until cancer visited me at age 40. Have been busy battling that twice and trying to recover since.
Not all jobs in that industry are blue collar.

Would you know a Mr. Dorris who was in Ready Mix sales in Atlanta for many years?
And I have two concrete "bulkers" pictured above.

Anyone with any amount of construction process knowledge says "concrete" truck....or "ready-mix" truck.
cement rolls off the tongue better.
Guess I'm lucky I don't work outside.
