Eye for an eye punishment
They ought to do that here.

Drivers caught using high beams inappropriately will now be offered on-the-spot training about the dangers of such practices, according to a posting on the Shenzhen Traffic Police’s verified account with Weibo.
Specifically, headlight-happy drivers will be forced to stare straight ahead into the glaring headlights of a police van for a period of several minutes.
They ought to do that here.

Great idea! Take an already bad driver, blind them, put them back in their car, and let a now bad, blind driver go about their way.

How many times do people think you have your high beams on when you dont?
I get that shite at least twice a night when I drive. I rarely turn my highs on and I think not seeing my switch is what everyone goes off of

Using my high beams at night makes me a better driver. I'm not turning them off. If you are coming from the opposite direction that I am, look away for a few seconds if necessary.

I wear nighttime yellow lens riding glasses and barely notice high beans. Best $15 I ever spent.

I had a pair of KC's on an old Jeep back in college, and drove to my hometown at night a good bit. I never had my high beams on, but every now and then some idiot would flash theirs at me when they thought I didn't switch mine off. I flipped the KC's on just to piss them off. They were way brighter than high beams.

I always keep my hand near the switch and flash then back because that is what stupid people get. It is not hard to see the difference, fog lights on? Low beams are on

A friend of my Dad used to carry huge arse seal beam in his vehicle when someone wouldn't hit the dimmer he would light them up.
Worked fine till one night he lit up a state trooper

Seems to be the new thing around Houston.
To drive with either fog lights or high beams on all the time. These have to be the same people who ride around with their flashers on in the rain.

yep, I was on I-20 the other day doing 68 in the left lane, which is plenty fast enough for anyone, and this dick came right up on my arse with his flashers and high beams on, what an arse

KC lights were great medicine for people who wouldn't turn off their brights when flashed. They always turned them off after you put those bright bastards on them.
