Did you not watch his playoff/super bowl run? I agree outside of that month stretch

ETA: Obviously, some QBs are more responsible for their team's success than others. But to knock Flacco because he had great coaching and talented supporting cast is ridiculous. All SB-winning QBs had the benefit of great coaching and a talented supporting cast.

That could be argued because he killed it in the playoffs the year they won the Super Bowl. I think he had like 14 TDs and 0 ints in the playoffs that year.
But you are right, he does make bonehead plays that leave you frustrated and scratching your head.

You wouldn't trade Dalton for cam? Or Romo? You can't be serious?
I would rather have Dalton than either of them.

Dude, your list is half retard FWIW. So at least you didn't go full retard.
How so?

Damn man Cam and Romo are both way better than Dalton. Even taking into account Romo's bed shitting abilities, he's still better.

You know I don't even hate Dalton.
Not every team has the luxury of having a Manning or Brees or Rodgers.
But that doesn't mean you pay who you end up with Brees money.

Interesting. When he plays bad, he plays real bad
Posted on 8/4/14 at 12:57 pm to TigerBait1127
That's why he's fantasy poison. He has great weeks of 3+ TDs and 300+ yards followed by dog shite games.
He's not consistent.

Gonna have to agree with this.

He was insanely good that post-season.

Flaccos gamble worked so well that it made the casino pay out big to any other a-hole that happened to be sitting at the same table

Judging from that chart, Dalton is the definition of average. He's as good as he is bad.
Anytime you get a chance to tie up your cap in a mediocre QB for the next 6 years, you gotta do that shite ASAP.

The actual numbers have finally come out.
Looks like the deal is not nearly as bad for the Bengals as it initially looked.
LINK
Out of that whole contract, only 17 million is guaranteed.

The contract nevertheless remains, like Kaepernick’s, mostly a year-to-year proposition, with Dalton being guaranteed as a practical matter two years and $25 million. That’s a lot more than he would have made over the next two seasons if he’d played out his rookie deal and then been slapped with the franchise tag. Beyond 2015, however, it’s a one-year-at-a-time existence no different than Kaepernick’s.
I could live with this as a Bengal fan

So now Andy Dalton is a 100 million dollar QB.. and people complained about Brees, who was severely underpaid his first 5-6 seasons with New Orleans..
