quote:The Dems and GOP do it all day long. News media eats it up... gets broadcast... re-broadcast...ad infinitum. Public mindless, absorbs this nonsense as reality. But all it is is a tool in the hand of America haters that further cements the left-moderate-right divide and shatters any possible rational discourse on any issue. Thanks to 24/7 news media of all stripes, we are in a downward political/governmental spiral and the only ones who can change the direction is us.
More Democrat strawman construction.
In other words, pull the plug on the news and talk to each other, and listen to each other. And work it out... whatever "it" is. That used to work to build an American consensus at other times of disagreement. It could still work. But we gotta stop dancing to the seductive, manipulative rhythms of the special interests/news/celebrity/governmental-political hacks. Only we can make that choice for ourselves.

Nobody's mentioning anything BHO's impeachment except Democrats and their minions in the media.

Totes has accumulated 47 downvotes in this thread. That's positively Rexian.

Can you imagine the philosophical/legal about-face that Dems will assume when the '16 Conservative Presidential candidate pledges to do an Executive Order to militarize/secure the border within a month, on the FIRST DAY that he is sworn in. There will be so many Blacks and Independents who will vote for that closure that it would nullify any Latino votes.
I like this!!!

This is essentially the same thing as being a Falcons fan posting on Saints talk. It doesn't matter what I say, if I don't post something that says "Obummer" or "Obamascam" or the like, it'll be down voted.
Take the last two threads I've participated in on this board: this one and the Rand Paul/MSNBC thread. Point out that Republicans have sought impeachment of Obama throughout his presidency (not saying that was right or wrong, merely that it happened)... ? Down vote. Have posters freak out about liberals who wanted to impeach Bush or which party has mentioned it more. I never disputed that, or even brought it up. Other thread, point out that I think Rand Paul could have handled himself better on msnbc the other day. Say how he could have gone about doing that. Get down voted to hell. I never commented on Rand Paul as a person or a politician, because that wasn't the point.
Rex is a troll who deserves to be down voted. It's what he wants. But I can't even have a discussion on this board without it being ruined by people who won't have a single post around here if it's not 100% bashing Obama.

Totes, I actually like you and dissent is always good and needed on this board and keeps it on its toes as well. Keep it up.

I used to use his work as a resource for research/opinion papers several years ago in college. He has gone so far off the deep end that there's no way he would be considered credible anymore.

Yep, this is the attitude of 90% of the blacks.
They think if you criticize obama you are the biggests racist.
And blacks wonder why so many in their communities have so many problems.

Good TV.
Juan was just stating a general fact, which can get you labeled a "modern day racist." The term racist has been so perverted we can't recognize real racism anymore.
Which is more racist?
-of the set of people wanting Obama impeached, the highest percentage is white people.
-A wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion [as a judge] than a white male.
Also Juan is a liberal, therefore he cannot be racist.

Anyone who disagrees with them is labeled a troll and a hack... Which is ironic considering the definition of a hack is believing anyone who doesn't agree with you is a troll and a hack.

You receive hate because you post stupid shite like this. I, for instance, have never used terms of this sort unless you count Obamacare. But if that offends your sensibilities, you should take a break from the internet.

This remains an irrelevant point. There have been some people that have tried to impeach every president. Using this fact to impugn Republicans is dishonest.

So dishonest to quote the 2008 VP Republican nominee.

Yes. She has no power or position within the Republican party. If you think otherwise, you're only deceiving yourself.
And it is still irrelevant to the point that poster was originally making: Republicans have called for his impeachment since his inauguration. Palin was not a part of that original dissent.
