$695M immigration bill .
3 votes scheduled, although 3rd vote dependent on outcome of second vote. First vote is procedural. All 3 votes subject to one hour of debate first - so a long evening.

House Approves $695M H.R. 5230 "Secure the Southwest Border Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2014" / "Secure the Southwest Border Act of 2014 " by vote of 223 - 189, with 20 members not voting.
Four Republicans voted "Nay" - Jones of NC (expected), Massie of KY (expected), Broun of GA (expected) and Fincher of TN (unexpected).
Dem. Henry Cuellar of TX voted with the Republicans.
Dems not thrilled.
DACA ("Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals") debate and vote coming up next, then possibly Iron Dome funds vote after that before going home on vacation.

At least the GOP house members can go home now for the summer break and claim they passed something to address the border issue and if it where not for the pedo leader in the senate these bills would have a better chance of becoming law.

frick them.
Now they can all go back and talk about what hard asses they were on DACA, but ignore the fricking blank check they gave Obama.

Please explain. I assume you are not talking about the legislation passed (and to be passed) tonight.

Iron Dome funding passes House 395 to 8 (30 not voting). Senate already passed, bill goes to Obama for signing.
Good job.
Everyone headed back home to their districts.

Its very telling the shite Congress CAN agree on. Tell me again that AIPAC isn't running our foreign policy.
