24 + 24 hours in Asheville

Going to visit family in Virginia next month, and I'm going to stay with a friend in Asheville for a night each direction.
Considering I'll only have about 24 hours (on the way there) and another 24 hours (on the way home), what would you recommend to do? Breweries, restaurants, architecture, museums...I'm really open to any suggestions.

Not an expert on Asheville, but I would spend some time at Wicked Weed.

Wicked Weed is a must-visit. Preferably when they have the taproom downstairs open.
I really enjoyed Hi-Wire Brewing, Burial Brewing, Green Man, and Wedge Brewing.
Asheville Brewing if you need some food (pizza) with your beer.
If you have time, there is plenty of good hiking in the area.

Looking Glass rock if you want a decent/easy hike.

Go to Wedge and drink Iron Rail IPA. You'll fight a lot less tourists than you will at Wicked Weed. For me, it's a more authentic Asheville experience than a fancy bar downtown. Take a couple of six packs of Pisgah Pale when you leave.

Definitely Wicked Weed.
Buy a six pack of local beer and do either the Lazoom tour of the city or the Amazing Pubcycle. Both are BYOB and tons of fun. They are only 1.5 hours long so it's a good way to see the city and they point out good local joints to try. The Pubcycle was one of the more fun thing I've done in a while but we were a group of 10 and had it all to ourselves. They actually stop at some breweries. Highly recommend it.

The new fat tire brewery might be open, but am not sure

Thanks everyone.
Going to try to check out a couple breweries (probably Wicked Weed and maybe Wedge or another non-touristy spot -- thanks for the heads up on that). Pubcycle sounds pretty cool too...might try to squeeze that in on the second trip.

My 2¢
Daytime
OUTDOOR OPTION: If you are into outdoors you can't top wrong with Dupont State Park. Waterfalls, nice views, good but easy hiking. Kind of perfect for getting the nature obligations out of the way...
BOOZER OPTION: Do a pub crawl downtown. Asheville downtown is awesome a very walkable and you can 10 brewpubs within a 1 mile radius. IMO Wicked Weed has some great beers but do not eat there. Food blows.
Downtown Brews: LINK
Pre-Dinner Cocktail
If you want a great drink before dinner go to Imperial Life (it's above Table Restaurant downtown. Awesome bartenders (mixologists...) and great drinks.
Dinner
Not sure how interested you are in food. Asheville has had an explosion of what I refer to as 'hipster' cuisine. Most of them are pretty good but my favorite quick and cheap meal downtown is Thai Orchid. Really good, inexpensive thai food. Ask for 'Sam Sauce'. It's like thai salsa and will whip a hangover's arse.
Other dinner choices:
Table - good but maybe too hisser fusion-y $$$
Bull and Beggar - fun with friends but you'll drop $100 a head (this place is 2 doors down from Wedge Brewery in River Arts District. Not downtown but close... $$$$
Limones- Yum. $$$
Post Dinner
Tons of bars/music venues downtown.
Have fun.

Drive the Blue Ridge Pkwy to the Biltmore. The house was really cool, and I enjoyed their winery and free wine tasting also.
I loved Asheville. Zambra, Cucina 24, Table... so many great restaurants, along with the places mentioned already.

Check out the Orange Peel for any national acts that might be in town while you're there.
Stop by an Ingles grocery before you leave town and buy a sixpack of every local brew they have.

Biltmore estate is amazing
Probably haven't seen this place in over 15 years and when I did I was really young, but I remember being amazed by it.
