I'd go with
1.) Linebackers-
- I personally believe Kwon is the best linebacker in the conference
- plus a senior at middle for leadership
- another freak athlete in Debo...
- then CJ Garrett, Kendall, etc. That's talent and depth for years.
2.) Defensive Backs
- the best tandem at CB in the college game
- an all SEC safety (if he plays) in Mills
- a senior to provide experience in Ronald
- then you have Ed Paris, Jamal Adams, and company behind them and KT2 coming in this year.
3.) Offensive Line
- best starting O line possibly in the nation
- best LT in La'el
- big bruising guards
- Clapp and Brunfield waiting

You sir, should consider a career in comedy.

i think everyone will be pleasantly surprised with the d line this year...
rasco and hunter should both be great w/ the likes of bower, herron and neal backing them up
lacatoure is a stud w/ q thomas next to him...again, a lot of quality youth in the rotation behind them
also, don't sleep on Battle at safety playing time this year

Pretty much exactly what you said. I think LB and DB is interchangable. Both groups are extremely deep and talented.
WR is not too far behind OLine, they are just very unproven at this point.

Based on talent and depth alone:
WR:
Dural
Leslie
Diarse
Peterson
Dupre
Quinn
Spears
Chark
Upchurch
DB:
Robinson
Mills
White
Collins
Jefferson
Adams
Paris
Thomas
Thompson
Voorhies
Martin
Battle
Gage
Next would have to be RB's just because
Magee: proven
Hilliard: proven
LF: talent
Williams: highly touted and talented
We are obviously stacked at O Line and LBers but as far as based on TALENT AND DEPTH ALONE these are my three with a close fourth being D-line

You are just going through and naming guys at those positions. It doesn't really tell me much about why any of the backups are any good.

Kwon is the only one of those 3 that is really debatable.
When you have the best OL in the SEC, you probably have the best in the nation, and if you can find me a better duo than Rashard and Tre... Well then I'll kiss your arse.

Message board son. Get the in depth details elsewhere. At least he put the names

We've heard arguments on how all of the guys I listed are very talented and will compete for playing time very early in their careers.
When it comes to O-Line and LBers most have just said Welter, Kwon, Debo, Feist, and Beckwith will play at LB and Lael, Porter, Hawkins, Alexander, and Fanaka will start with Pocic and Washington getting snaps in there.
All of those guys have been on the team for at least a year and aren't touted based on just talent.
I listed the position in which we had the most depth based on the talent and hype at those positions and the large quantity of talented players at those specific positions.

I guess it is really more of a point that by the time some of these guys are seniors they may have hardly seen the field. Then we'll get a tin threads asking what ever happened to them.
Furthermore, just because I recognize their name doesn't mean they are going to be great.
I'll accept this is just typical message board posting format. However, if you go to the SEC rant you just see people listing names as if I know the 3 deep of every team.

Kwon, Debo, Louis, Beckwith- all stud athletes who can run
Welter- SR leader who will get everyone lined up even though he gets a ton a crap from everyone. Hopefully the younger guys (Beckwith and CJ Garrett) can learn the scheme from him and take over when he leaves.
Feist- ball player! Should see the field more but hard to find enough snaps for him.
OL: will be dirty!

Those are not far fetched statements. Surely up for debate, but those three groups are loaded.

You guys sure have a lot of confidence in some unproven players...I hope you are right.
