i remember when it boggled my mind you could squirt ink onto a piece of paper at 300 dots per inch...then the next thing i know we're at 4,000 dpi and creating shite in 3d

One of my classrooms got a 4 color printer in 2nd grade. My mind was blown.

Is that stuff durable? Someone once made a 3D printed bike and it snapped it half b/c of the stress.

Amazing technology, but I think the real mass home printer market is a way's off. The industrial sector printers are much more immediately applicable.

Yep, probably true. But once it takes off this could be the next big innovation just like smart phones have changed daily life so much.
