Good read and absolutely agree with his #1 overall selection: LINK

PNC really is awesome. I think Busch Stadium is better than 17th.

I was completely underwhelmed with it when I visited there last summer.

The Trop really isn't as bad as people make it out to be.

25. CITI FIELD, New York Opened: 2009 Capacity: 41,922 Comment: Let’s make one thing clear: Citi Field is so much better than Shea Stadium, which was the single worst place on Earth. And I don’t just say that because I once got food poisoning in the media dining room. (Though that certainly didn’t help.) The problems with Citi Field, however, are many. It’s too big. It’s too dark. It’s too confusing (you can’t walk all the way around the main concourse, you have to take stairs or escalators up and then back down). And the original outfield dimensions were so bad, the Mets wound up moving the fences in after only a couple of seasons of play. It’s a completely contrived ballpark out in the middle of Flushing Meadows, where the crowds are drowned out by the planes taking off from nearby LaGuardia Airport every couple of minutes. Very much a missed opportunity for the Mets.
This is my biggest gripe about JerryWorld. To meet my buddy in the other end zone made me feel like a rat in a maze that had done gone smell blind.

Fenway at 10th :(
I've always wanted to visit Camden, it looks gorgeous on TV.

24. TURNER FIELD, Atlanta
Opened: 1997
Capacity: 49,586
Comment: I often wondered what the lifespan of the modern ballpark would be. The multipurpose facilities of the ’60s and ’70s survived roughly 30-to-40 years before being torn down. Will the new parks become obsolete so soon as well? In Atlanta, the answer is yes. Despite being less than 20 years old, Turner Field already is being replaced, with the Braves building a brand-new stadium in the suburbs set to open in 2017. What’s wrong with the current ballpark? Well, it was originally built for the Olympics, so it does feel too big and a little un-baseball-like. And as is the case in several middle-of-the-road ballparks listed above, it has no real defining characteristic. Unfortunately, the initial renderings of the new park don’t blow you away, either, so the Braves’ next home may be nothing more than a newer version of their current one.
Ouch.

I've been to #1 & #29 twice. He's definately got the spread right between those two.

I love Petco Park. Just wish they'd actually give a damn about putting a great product on the field. Pig turds on expensive china are still pig turds.

Agree about petco being highly rated. Great experience and beautiful area. Also helps that it's like 65 degrees for night games in August.

based on my limited experience, AT&T should be number 1. absolutely fantastic baseball venue with a dedicated, passionate fan base actively cheering on their team. I had so much fun there.

No way Ballpark in Arlington is below Turner Field

Wrigley #4, LOL
The Cell sucks though. Built the wrong stadium in the wrong place in town. (projects have been torn down; but you got two obligatory stereotypes in their Mr Writer).

Without clicking on the link, Oakland Coliseum better be LAST. That is not negotiable. Biggest shithole of a stadium I have ever been in. The Trop in TB should be bottom 3...that place had ZERO atmosphere and just didn't feel like a ballpark.
San Fran's park (AT&T or Pac Bell or whatever the hell they call it) better be in the top 3. That place is gorgeous and the one time I have been there I was lucky enough to be there on a sunny 72 degree day. It was a sight to behold. Pittsburgh's park should be solid Top 3-5 also.

I've only been to #2 and #4. The San Fran stadium really is that awesome.

Putting the Ballpark in Arlington at 26 is terrible. It's a nice park. It's middle of the pack.
It's kind of a shitty list. He puts a lot of stock into meaningless things.

Of the best 4 ballparks I've been, I agree with his order.
After that not so much.
