Where in Kansas?
If it's anything like North Oklahoma in mid December you can expect to see more mallards than you do in 3 seasons in South Louisiana
you'll kill some Canada Geese too

It's cold and there is Green, lots of it. IF there is water. Been to Okie and KS. There was a big drought up there a few years back and no real water.
You gonna chase geese too?

I know the Greater Canadas show up late so that's a definite plus. I follow them on Instagram and see some great hunts late season but just wanted to hear from any of y'all with experience. Looks like the place has some creek bottoms they slam mallards on as well as dry field hunts.

Yeah we either hunt dry fields or Arkansas River

I'd like to do both
Eta: paging 34 because I know he's had some great hunts in KS

If everything is frozen and your guides have access to moving water you can absolutely crush the mallards. The goose hunting should be pretty good as well. I have never had a bad time and or hunt over there in the times that I have been.
Few "creek" hunts
