LINK
You can see the gyms on the healthways site, which you can access via this link. I use it and haven't had a problem enrolling anywhere. According to a gym owner I spoke to about it, the gym gets like $3 bucks each time you visit. You don't have to pay any extra on top of the fee to healthways. Gyms will give you the access cards. One caveat is I don't think the multi-access gyms (like Anytime) let you use your scanner at non-healthways affiliated gyms. I tested mine at a different anytime and it did not work. Otherwise, this program is awesome

Yeah i use it, pretty sweet. 25 a month, blue cross pays the difference. plus you have to swipe a card everytime you go in and the lady said not to forget cause thats how they get paid.

The way I understood that it worked was you sign up at any of the available gyms and pay the normal gym membership fee. When you use Healthways it's $29 a month and Healthways mails you the difference in a check every month.
So if Snap is $40, Healthways would send a check reimbursing you for $11. Which means you only spent $29 a month.
Is that how it works?
You pay Healthways $25/mo. They send you a card. You take that card to any participating gym and they sign you up as a member. No financial transaction happens between you and the gym. The gyms bill Healthways then Healthways bills you

I wonder if the City Club takes it
I wish, I miss that place. It was nice not having to deal with all the bro types with their milk jugs filled with water that Anytime attracts.

Thanks for helping clarify. I have to go talk to get it straight at the gym this morning.

I found this last night.
Gym search by zip and city/state
It looks like a lot of the anytime's aren't on the list. But with anytime once you have a card, can you use it at any of them? I've never been in an anytime or snap. Do they have squat racks?
And when I searched for Santa Rosa Beach, the closest one on there is in Ft. Walton.

This is how it works:
You pay Blue Cross $25 down, $25 a month. There is a 3 month minimum. Blue Cross pays Healthways, and Healthways pays whatever gym you visit on a per visit basis. You will likely have multiple check-in cats, one for the gym you visit and a Healthways Prime card that looks like a credit card.
Snap and Anytime will lie to you and tell you that you sign up with them. They them get a guaranteed monthly payment which also keeps you from going to other gyms and locks you in at their club.

Snap in Youngsville isn't much better at times, overheard one of them recently talking about trying to get his tank top to fade more so it looked better with his khakis.
On the upside, it's never usually too crowded.

if snap is still on the list for Lafayette, it is outdated, they all quit doing it.
they get paid based on when you show up. I havent tried using the anytime fob at a different one yet, but i imagine it would work fine.

The individual gyms get paid based on usage. Some gyms like these programs and some don't. Not every Anytime in BR participates.

That's more a practice of a shitty manager or owner. Snap and Anytime would not encourage this behavior. Unfortunately they can't monitor the day to day practices of every franchisee.
They don't want you going to other clubs because they only get paid for visits to their club. When I ran some Anytimes in BR we embraced it and didn't pull any bullshite. Going to other clubs is a part of the membership and if we were doing our job right people will want to use ours more often than not anyway.

I enrolled and use Anytime Fitness. It was easy with me and they were cool about it.

Even if they arent on the list, some will still honor it. They would be stupid not to. Either they want more business or they dont. You have to be a member of an Anytime for at least a month first prior to working out at other Anytime's. Yes, they have squat racks. No they are never used. My one gripe is they have Precor machines, which I absolutely hate. Ive been used to Bodymasters and Hammer Strength my entire life and the Precor machines have a very ackward range of motion and dont support your body the way it is supposed to be supported in alot of the lifts. For example, the plate loaded seated row doesnt have a chest pad to push your body against, which in turn puts all the weight on your lower back even with perfect form. Coming from a gym that had a Hammer Srength seated row, this one absolutely sucks.
