Dont forget to sleep I was there for 3 years and we'd be outdoors during the summer and look at our watches and it was like 11:30pm and felt like 8:30 pm. The daylight thing will feel weird for you but it just allows you more time to enjoy the scenery! The bush company introduced me to what the female body had to offer I was a young kid in the military but did enjoy my time there!

Yeah I have a feeling that Monday back at work is going to be awful. Just from the lack of sleep and the long flight home.

If you can get to Seward, check out Kenia Fjords. Seward is a three hour drive from ANC.
Thanks. I believe we are going here. Good to know it's legit
Very. Only go on the boat if the weather is good because the bay is not protected and can get choppy

1. Not much to do in Anchorage city limits but there are a few breweries that are good to visit. Humpy's is good. Glacier Brewhouse has good beer. If you're looking for something to do near here it's cool to make the trip to Whittier (a harbor area that you have to drive through a 3 mile tunnel to get to) and visit the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center along the way.
2. You mentioned going to Seward. I would call Adventure Sixty North. They are an outfitter group and will work with you on any budget or activity you want to do in Seward. The guides are really laid back. Ray's Waterfront was the best food I had in Alaska.
3. As you are heading up to Denali, stop by Talkeetna for a night. It's a really tiny ski lodge town with cool bars.

Go to Exit Glacier. Not many "drive up" glaciers left in the world.

If you visit a glacier make sure to wear sunscreen!

Last time I was there you couldn't see it from the visitors center. You take a boat and see it, but it's dropped back quite a bit

Tent camped a couple nights in Denali, had a great time. The drive down to Seward is great. I stopped along the way and visited Whittier. The tunnel going into town is pretty neat. There's sighseeing boats and a ferry that runs from Whittier to Valdez that I wanted to check out but didn't have time.
In town, great pizza and beer at Moose's Tooth, as mentioned Glacier Brewhouse and Humpy's are also good.
Visit the Bush Co. once and don't stay at the Coast International. The Coast is 90% oilfield workers. Nothing wrong with that (I'm one of them) but not where you want to be on vacation.
