Well, I don't know the context, but if those were his exact words, than "it" could simply mean the media circus it's sure to be with him around.

I don't blame him. Who would want to draft a guy who's only known for who he likes to sleep with? Imagine the backlash that will happen when the Rams cut him? Who would want to deal with the media circus that is Michael Sam?

Anyone that thinks Dungy is in trouble has a basic misunderstanding of how this kind of thing works.
The left uses potentially offensive statements to go after their enemies. It is all an exersize in disingenuousness. They don't go after anyone that says something potentially offensive because they are offended. They seize opportunities to go after individuals they already want to go after.
Dungy is not on that list so Dungy is free and clear.

As others have probably posted, I completely agree. It's going to be a circus with Sam as the main attraction.
He has no idea what's in store for him. Pro athletes will do anything to get under each other's skins. The fact that he just isn't very good will it help, but I'm sure his lack of performance will be blamed on homophobia.
Kudos to the Rams for nixing the stupid reality show.

I dont see what the issue is here. He isnt even the first talking head to say this and it isnt a commentary on his sexuality.
I wouldnt want to draft Sam either, it's a media circus and if he ends up sucking the blowback from cutting him will be significant. Dude just isnt worth the trouble unless he turns into a star, which is unlikely.

He knows Sams has questionable athleticism and his lifestyle will be a distraction. Don't see anything wrong with what he said.
