he really brings nothing to the table

Jimmy: Hey mike how about the panthers WRs and all of the turnover they've had there?
Delacano: Yeah Jimmy they're going to need some WRs, because this is the NFL and you need them.

Does the big dog from each trashy little office still call in with 6 different locks of the week for his employees to be the cool boss? Rachel is gonna take Memphis, she said they have good BBQ, James.

hopefully Culotta gets his sea legs pretty quick. He can be pretty tough to listen to and not fall asleep at times.

Ott's prime was before Gustav on 1300 AM. He's not the same guy he was back then. I still like him, but he was better on his own IMO and when he would do The Caterie remotes on Fridays.

What?!? Him repeating people's names a million times during a conversation. That's good. "Ronnie, LSU's defense is too good for Auburn. The Tigers will shut down Nick Marshall, Ronnie. Ronnie, LSU will win big, Ronnie."

Entertainment.

It's hard for me to listen to any of these guys very long because I'm not interested in their prime topic of discussion, LSU sports. For that reason, I find the Gold Sheet segment the best of the bunch (Bruce Marshall is also a witty writer).
The best BR guy is Hanigriff. I think he could have a career beyond covering LSU if he wanted it.

That doesn't bother me as much as the extra hour they add on Fridays during football season, so the audience can hear a plant operator from Watson predict who will win the Kansas-Iowa State game.

This.

Lock of the week is terrible and that just shows why Ott is so bad.

He has no idea what is interesting but is in charge of the conversation everyday. Also, his arrogance is amazing. You are a local, hack radio personality (who can't even get his own show now) tone it down.

I kind of enjoy lock of the week. Competition is fun, and there are some knowledgeable callers who actually give good takes on games you don't normally hear about it. JMO

well weed out the crappy ones (90% of them) and only take the calls from the ones that contribute something.
