Metahuman is just DC's way of explaining super powers. I mean, Superman is considered a "metahuman", but his abilities are really a result of being an alien, and Amazo has copied his abilities.

This. He's a robot, thinks linearly. Loki does more with less than pretty much anyone else, and that's because of his creativity. He is a threat to TEAMS of foes, think about that. There are people in this tournament who will smash Loki, Amazo is not one.

Even if he tricks him, how is he going to finish Amazo off? It just seems like Loki could get off one shot, and then Amazo would destroy him.
