Why the constant obsession with race? When I think of Welter, I don't think of a white guy - I think of a player that doesn't seem to make plays. That's the sole reason for my unhappiness with his production on the field.
Especially in sports, we love our guys, whether they're black, white, green, or blue.
Jamarcus Russell was loved at LSU, and Jordan Jefferson was hated. In both cases, it wasn't race.
