Why do people think it is impossible to have a good offense with a freshmen QB?

It'a not like it's never been done before. We're obviously going to have a good run game to achieve balance and set up play action .

Not by any means saying that the offense will be or should be great. Just think its ignorant to say or assume our passing game/offense will be poor or below average.

Do you even History, bro?

It's FAR more likely that the offense will struggle with a FR QB, but hey, it's possible...

With the way we will be running the ball, we will be facing a lot of stacked boxes. This will give our wr some 1 on 1 opportunities to make plays. If we can get mediocre qb play we can win 10-11 games.

Everything is relative.

Are you SURE we are going to have a running game as good as last year? I'm not.

So, if the running game is equal or worse, and the QB play is significantly inferior, it's reasonable to expect the offense as a whole to underperform...relative to last year. Add in the youth at WR and it just compounds the issue.

I'm expecting the offense to take a step back. If we are above average in the SEC offensively, people should be praising Cam Cameron.

VERY rare. Jameis/Fla State is the exception, not the norm.

It's rare. But most who do it have veteran receivers. We don't.

The odds are against a true freshman QB taking to the game like a fish to water.

We could also look at this situation through Jennings as well. He basically has the same experience and amount of practice as a redshirt freshman would.

4 words . . .

Speed Of The Game

It doesn't slow down for new guys until they get much more experienced.

As a true freshman QB, Tommy Hodson led LSU to the SEC title in 1986. Is it possible in this era? Maybe but I wouldn't wager any $ on it.

Of course it's possible. It's just a lot harder.
