Speaking of, did anyone else pre-order the deluxe edition? I'm a sucker for open world RPGs so once the details came out I couldn't help myself.

I just don't see paying months in advance for that meager bonus. I will buy the game for sure, I will just wait until it's close to release. If you are in for the deluxe version I can see it.

I would if they offered a top hat

Only preorder incentive I've ever cared about is price reduction

Stupid thing that bugged me about the second trailer -- when fighting the boss the Qunari character hacked a pillar multiple times, inflicting damage to the pillar. Then the damage just magically healed.
Um. What's the fricking point? If you're not ACTUALLY going to have a destructible environment why fricking bother with a lingering, two second long faux-damage?
And didn't fricking Goldeneye on N64 have bullet holes that didn't go away? I'm pretty sure that's true. So an N64 could do it but next gen consoles/PCs can't.
But seriously, if that's the only complaint that's not a big deal.

Wicher 3 gave me a discount for owning the 1st two and beta access to the Witcher Adventure game

Witcher 3 has had good deals. It's rare I pay $60. I think gtav is the only game I did that for in the past couple of years.

It's not a big deal. I still think it's stupid and nonsensical.

You'd be better off not playing games if stuff like that annoys you, because that has been present in gaming foreverrrrrrr

He has a point. why even create the ability to destroy the environment around you if it magically heals for no reason.
Nothing to give to much energy to, but at the same time, what is the point.

It's not like I'm not going to play the game. I'll defend the sequel more than most. The original was one of my favorite games ever. Of course I'll play this.
But just because I'll probably enjoy the game doesn't mean I can't think that it's absurd given the hardware we currently have.
ETA:
THANK YOU! That's all I'm trying to say! Just go the Zelda approach and have it "clang" and not make any visible mark. How many man hours are wasted on it making a gash that magically heals? What does that actually add to the product?
