It's mostly prevalent in Indian Culture from what I've seen. I know an indian girl that married a white guy that was a doctor. They still didn't support it. Crazy.

This is not true. My brother is married to a Vietnamese girl. Her parents came over from Vietnam in 1975 at the end of the war.
They weren't thrilled when they started dating, but once they got to know him they were fine with it. Oh, and they have 10 kids and this is their first daughter.......

Been with mine 8 years we have 2 kids and her parents still say call me "the white boy". However if you can get her keep her. They are fantastic.
