Mississippi State will go 4-4 in the SEC this season.

ESPN based this off of some predicitive HTH matchup bullshite.

Can someone find me a guy who beat Vegas based on ESPN's predicitive analysis?
Head-2-Head, for both Bama and LSU the matchup, in some eyes, could favor MSU. That's a good at minimum defense, likely the best anchor DLine in the SEC, going against inexperienced offenses. DB's in the land of cow patties isn't bad either. Actually LSU should, on paper, match up slightly better with MSU than Bama because of a more experienced OL.

It's either a lack of respect for the program, the belief that we simply lack the talent that Alabama has, or both.

Its the difference in being perceived as a team with always something to "fix" heading into the new season vs. one that is simply reloading.

Didn't Alabama lose their last two games?

Yep. Someone said not against us.. well Alabama is on a 2 game losing streak and we are on a 2 game winning streak.

And our 2 game winning streak comes with a quarterback who is actually returning from those two games. They are truly breaking in a new guy who is completely unproven with a new OC who tends to screw up teams wherever he goes.

Alabama will be starting a kid that was in Florida State's system for 3 years, redshirted and played in some games in 2012 and 2013. He will be entering his 4th year in college. We MIGHT start a true freshman.

I've made it clear on here, I don't personally believe that that precludes LSU from being able to have a good offense and score points with the talent that we have on the roster. If you can't see why the outside media would be favoring Bama with a 4th year quarterback over LSU who doesn't even know who their starting QB will be, you are straight up being a homer.

He might not even play.

Wrong. Their QB has thrown more D1 collegiate passes than every single QB on our roster combined.

While both will be breaking in new QBs, Alabama returns all of their RBs and virtually all of their impact WRs. The losses of Beckham, Landry and Hill can't be ignored. Plus, there are still questions about the LSU Defense (Who on the DL has done anything in the SEC to make you believe they will be a dominant player?)

Besides that, the fact is Bama deservedly gets the benefit of the doubt, even in a "rebuilding year". In the last 5 years they have only had a "2 loss" regular season 1 time. In that same time period, LSU has only had one regular season where they didn't lose at least 2 games. Plus, Alabama has a 3 game winning streak over LSU.

Just looking at things objectively, it's not unreasonable to pick Bama over LSU. Sorry if that hurts your feelings.

Fourth in the SEC WEST. Cool ! Great bulletin material for us. I want LSU to be disrespected and counted out by ESPN.

I don't mind being an underdog. Let these guys suck off Saban and Malzhan. Just like Paul Finebaum.

By the way, why does PF show play in BR ? He sucks Saban dry everynight. Biased MOFO.

Let's Roll the tide.

The stupid thing is they have Auburn ranked high because of last year, which I sort of get, and the have Bama ranked by potential. LSU gets dogged because we are replacing skill positions, but Bama gets a pass on that. Ironically, I think Auburn will drop, and the west will be between LSU and Bama.
