My Garage door has been working fine. Just Bought an Infiniti QX60 and successfully liked the homelink button with my garage (So I thought).

Now the garage door (liftmaster) opens and stays closed but opens/closes at random times on its own.

House is not sinking, no ghosts, nothing obstructing the beams, green light sensors are on, No loose wires, no dirt, and Not the open/close limits.

I believe it has to do something with the rolling codes. Linked another vehicle last year with no issues. Can a neighbor trigger my garage door? Any garage door gurus with suggestions to fix this?

Your wife gave a copy of the clicker to her bf. He rides by and opens it to see if you're home.

Sorry bout that.

Do you know where all the manual remotes are? I had the same issue last year and it was caused because one of the remotes was in a basket by the door and something was on top of it, pressing the button.

Get out while you still can.

Possible it's a neighbor. We had a similar situation a few years back with our driveway gate (also connected to Homelink). Drove us crazy trying to figure it out. Finally one day we happened to be out when it happened and noticed our neighbor about 4 houses down across the street had just driven past and could tell he was waiting for the gate to open in his driveway. They had just gotten it installed and the codes happened to be set the same. I opened mine up and change the dip switches and no more problems. Take a walk up and down your street with your opener remote. See if it opens anyone else's garage or gate.

Your new vehicle is the issue. Mine did same thing. Reset your opener and don't link your new vehicle.

Mine did the same thing when I got the Lambo. Ended up trading it for a Honda.

Is there an Indian cemetery on the premises? The spirits probably don't like the QX60.
