Things I don't give two chits about: Gays and abortion.

Gays and abortion are non-issues to me because I really don't care one way or the other and it drives me crazy when politicians present either of them as cornerstone pieces of ther platform. What are some issues that get a great deal of attention that really don't mean very much to you?

Gay marriage, abortion, and anything involving sensitivity. I don't care that people are offended by a name, a joke, a word, or anything of the like. I loathe public apologies for something deemed offensive.

I care more about equal rights to everybody than abortion. Then again, I don't consider abortion murder. If I did, it would be a pretty big deal for me.
I couldn't care less about Benghazi. And not much about the NSA scandal. Anybody who thinks the gvnt. hasn't or will not monitor everything electronic is naïve. I've never, nor will ever, put anything of sensitivity in electronic communication, search engines, etc.

I will go to my grave never voting for a democrat, but I agree with you. I could not care less about abortion and gays. Neither of which effect me in any capacity.

They do it to avoid having to explain - for instance - why the thugs at HSBC didn't go to prison.
