Who has manual locks anymore?

better question is what is the modern-day equivalent to this test?

I dated a girl who was so worried about this test that even though my car would unlock all the doors with the remote, after I let her in she would reach across and open my door. I just laughed and thought it was ridiculous.
I think with almost every car having power locks now, that test is obsolete.

If she passes the test do you take her to the drive in and then to make out point?
Kind of sucks that S. LA doesn't have much in the way of "make out points"
Need to build some hills.

The Door Test 2
After the first date is over and you take your woman to her home, and you both say your goodbyes and probably have a light kiss (might also have a heavy one). You two then part.
And as she finally turns around and goes to her door, you keep standing where you are, facing the girl and facing her door. She might notice that you keep standing, she might not - this is irrelevant. What is relevant it is what she does at the very last moment just before going inside:
- If she turns around at the last moment and gives you a smile, an air-kiss, waves or any other sign of affection, then she will be a keeper. Congrats!
- If she doesn't do anything and just disappears inside the building, then you are better of without her.

SCrew that. Ever heard of hard to get? shite works
I think its you drop something intentionally but pretend you didn't notice and see if she picks it up for you.

I just count the number of times she uses the word "I."

My girlfriend always reaches across and opens the door for me.

I always try to keep up with the ratio of questions vs stories about herself. Too much MEMEMEMEMEME is a major turnoff for me - first dates are about figuring each other out.

most cars only have a key lock on the driver side door now a days.

I think the door test is till valid.
But whatever you do, don't get thrown in jail for killing a police officer.
