Ox has a hammy strain. Out for 3 weeks including our return leg against Monaco.

It seems like everyone is having hamstring problems this season.

There is actual an ad out there from Arsenal looking to hire a deep tissue message therapist.
I wonder if Theo gets a look on the return trip to Monaco knowing we need goals

One of the many reasons this team is so frustrated to watch. No discipline. No coaching. If Chelsea were in our position the result would never be in doubt.
So, was that not Chelsea that led League One side Bradford City at home at Stamford Bridge by a 2-0 margin only to lose 4-2? Lead against Tottenham then lose it 5-3?
Chelsea are not Invincible! There is only 1 of those!
cwill77 ...
Guess we can now add PSG to the growing trend that is Chelsea throwing away seemingly comfortable wins! This seems to be something they are better at than Arsenal over the past couple of months. Led twice while playing against 10 man PSG for the better part of 90 minutes only to still be knocked out of the Champions League. And it happened at Stamford Bridge AGAIN!
I can honestly say I don't want Arsenal to resemble that disgraceful club in any way.

Me too man. I'm right with you there. The owner, coach, players, captain, and fans are all the filth of the footballing world. I would never let a loved one call themselves a blues supporter
Guys, I know this has been discussed before, but aren't hamstring injuries often due to the muscle being overworked? Maybe PTBob can answer this question. How much running is Arsene making our players do in practice that everyone is injured all the fricking time?

If you watch the tunnel cam videos he was obviously already dealing with some tightness. I think before and at halftime you can see him stretching it out.

Good news, gooners: Héctor Bellerín, gunner until 2019. Congratulations! @HectorBellerin seguirá en el #Arsenal hasta 2019.

He is just going to keep getting better. Can't wait for Debuchy to get back. Solid cover at fullback.

Bellerin has been excellent this season. Great news.

Also, great stat I read yesterday, Coquelin won 10 of 12 aerial duels against Fellaini.
As his play continues to stay at this level, I'm more and more convinced he's exactly the DM we need. I'd still like to buy another midfielder who can play that role and play more advanced, Schneiderlin being a good example, but I have no issues with Coquelin being our guy there.

Plus that provides us more cover at CB by moving Chambers inside where he seems to fit more naturally.

His highlight video from that game is great because it is basically a ton of him and Fellani battling LINK

I know this is more of an emotional hope than a truly wise soccer move, but on the back of this Bellerin extension is there any way we keep Jenkinson this summer? He's had a very good season at West Ham this year, but Bellerin clearly appears to be the future at RB.
Looking at Jenkinson, though, he doesn't really have the build of a RB. He's built more as a CDM or a CB. Is there a possibility of keeping him if he can learn a new position?
Even if he is squad depth, I just think Jenkinson is a good guy to keep within the team. He is, at the very least, a solid player who will absolutely give his all for the club. That being said, there simply might not be room for him.
Thoughts?

I doubt it with Debuchy, Chambers, and Bellerin all capable of playing RB.

I would like to keep him for depth purposes. He is definitely better defensively than Bellerin right now and he is a better crosser too. Bellerin has better upside but we want to win now so...

I can't see him staying.
RB: Debuchy, Bellerin, Chambers
RCB: Per, Gabriel, Chambers, Debuchy
LCB: Kosc, Gabriel, Monreal, Chambers
LB: Monreal, Gibbs, Gabriel
Maybe if we sell Per or something.
