Yeah, but other businesses and people aren't dependent on that air. If everyone caught rainwater, then it could lead to a worsened drought and destroy natural habitats.
Not sure how true that is. Studies have shown that only about 3% of rainwater reaches streams or the ground.

However, a 2007 study conducted by the Colorado Water Conservation Board and Douglas County determined that only 3 percent of rain actually reached a stream or the ground.

I don't think that is right. Rainwater is in ferae naturae. That just means that whoever captures it owns it. If you have the right to be on the property, I think you have the right to capture any rain that falls on it.

Just my opinion.

In Western States, Water Rights Are Separate From Property Rights. Someon Else may own the runoff from your property. Don't blame the government, blame the guy downstream from you. Its nothing new, it,s been that way since the 19th century.

Basically people who collect it on a very mass scale can really screw up the surrounding environment.

On just how massive a scale would you have to collect rain water for it to be harmful to the environment?

Yes, because he's going to save that link somewhere on his machine so that he can use it the few times he'd like to use it...

Who does that?

Wait, nevermind...
