Obesity in children. It is a national health crisis.

if you want to do something about it, there are 2 easy steps

1. remove subsidies for corn growers and add a ton of taxation on artificial sugar and HFCS production

2. make all food stamps similar to WIC, where they are restricted in the food able to be purchased

also, it's time that we start figuring out a punishment for parents who engage in this form of child abuse...especially if they're using the public's money to give their children diabetes

there are tons of examples of shitty parents making poor/fat children who are over-represented in government services, but we refuse to be honest about it. hell, when you criticize the children for their bad decisions, the lib-prog argument always ends up back on the parents, but they refuse to do anything about it directly. this obesity shite is an easy and direct example of shite lower class culture. if we can't address the terribleness of this culture AND agree to stop subsidizing this behavior with our own (stolen) money being redistributed, then nothing will change.

How would this address childhood obesity?

Because the only kids who are getting fat, in your opinion, are kids on food stamps?
