The shite can change real fast once it opens. But its looking good.
I worked with 20th century fox for my job and in the spring, they were convinced that this was going to be "their year" with x-men and this movie coming out.

I rewatched the Rise this morning. Man. Franco was more wooden than I remembered. That was probably the worst part of the film. Kinda glad he's out for the new one. His ol' lady was a looker though
I watched it for the first time the other night. I couldn't help wondering how much his home ins. went up after his dad jacked two of his neighbor's cars then his monkey ate one of his digits.

The AV Club critic gave it a B-.
I think he isn't a fan of the series since the apes winning is a foregone conclusion.
I never understood that point of view. I love a good WWII movie, even though I've had the ending spoiled since Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

It's not about the destination, it's about the journey.

spoiler alert
they didn't really "win" though. the conflict was pretty complex for a kiddie/cgi movie

Are the Apes the evil Christian Republicans and the humans the poor oppressed deomocrats?

Just watched and I really enjoyed it.

The apes are more like liberals and the humans are more like the conservative. There are both on both sides, though.

Saw it yesterday and I really don't go to the theatre.
