Given how every other LW option has played up to this point, I want to see Green start against Belgium.

It's the round of 16. It's time to go for it.

This assumes that Julian has continued to do well in practice.

I understand that no one was overly impressed by Green in his 2 appearances, but he at least brings speed, dribbling, and a willingness to attack.

So start the guy that has had no affect at all in any of the tune ups and group stage matches.

I like Green, and I'm glad we took a chance to get him on board. That said, I don't want to see him starting or on the field in any competitive match at this point. If he's forced into it, fine, but I don't think he's ready at this point to be someone to put the pressure on.

It's the round of 16. "Going for it" doesn't mean starting Julian Green.

And yeah I know that starting him would have been a bad idea.
