Peter O'Toole- T.E. Lawrence
Christoph Waltz- Hans Landa
Ralph Fiennes- Amon Goeth

These I think are more on the "born to play" lines. Fiennes was so effective at portraying Goeth that a Schindler Jew started shaking uncontrollably when he came onto the set, fearing that Goeth himself had come back from the dead.

Interesting that these are in the same post, OML.

In fact it was Alec Guinness in full Prince Faisal regalia, while shooting Lawrence of Arabia in Jordan, who was constantly approached by people who thought he was the late prince, come back to life. He claimed to have stolen his Arab accent for Omar Sharif.

He must have terrible genes to have been born to play a notorious Jew killer

Just found this out by looking online, and makes the post even more peculiar is that Fiennes got cast in Schindler's List because Speilburg's saw him play Lawrence in "Lawrence After Arabia" and found an O'Toole vibe from him which he thought would be perfect for Goeth.

And that gif reminded me of another one, no one else on Earth could have portrayed the character of Cosmo Kramer on screen like Michael Richards. Impossible.

Haven't read the whole thread so SIAP, but basically the whole cast of The Big Lebowski.

The Dude
Walter Sobchak
Jesus
Donnie

and even the smaller roles were fantastic and seemed like the people were born to play (including PSH as Brandt )

And Guinness played Lawrence in a play, but he was too old to play him by the time the movie got made.

(What? Too soon?)
