Tiger's majors career is done. Nicklaus is, and always will be, the GOAT..

Tiger is old, he's continuously injured and there are a shitload of young golfers who are just better than him.

Tiger will diverge further away from good golf play.

It's sad to see legends fall off.

Happened too soon for Tiger.

Reminds me of Ronaldinho.

he won 5 tournaments last year at the age of 37 ... nicklaus won 1 tournament at age 37, 2 at age 40 ... never approached 5 in one year that late in his career ... and nicklaus won 3 majors after the age of 38 ... tiger is not done, not by a longshot ... i don't know if he gets to 18 majors, but he'll get another 1 or 2, plus the 3 necessary to match sam snead ...

Who are the shitload of young golfers who are just better than him?

Didn't he finish 1st in the world last year?

Looked it up. finished ranked 1st last year with 8 top 10 finishes in 16 events. He won 5 of those.

You do understand that he won 5 times LAST year. Let him get some competitive rounds under his belt and he'll be competing again. Also, he's not ready. He wouldn't even be playing if it wasn't his tournament.

Tiger gets to pick and choose which tourney's that he wants to play in, which gives him the luxury to play on courses that he has positive history with.

He hasn't played in more than 22 or so PGA events/year in 10 or so years.

Not sure what you are trying to say? Every elite golfer picks courses that fits him.

..and back when Jack played, they had to play in every tourney to make $$. If they were battling an injury, and if it wasn't very serious, they had to play through it or not get paid.

Tiger tweaks an ab and takes off 8 weeks to recover.

As opposed to the other golfers who do something different...

I understand Tiger dominates certain courses, but think about how impressive it is that he has won at some of these places 8 times. No one faults Nicklaus for winning at Augusta 6 times even though it's the same course. By the way, Tiger has won 6 different events 5 times. The next best golfer has won 3 different events 5 times.
