If we don't win a Football NC title in the next 3 years with this Talent..

Will we as fans agree and come to an agreement we have underachieved or continue drinking Miles koolade?
BTW I think we make the Final 4 in 2 of 3 and taking 1 of 2!!

If we're going by talent, Alabama has had Rivals' #1 rated recruiting class EVERY SINGLE YEAR since 2008, except 2010, when it was ranked 5th. From a "too much talent" standpoint, Bama should win every title. Starting next season, every single player on their roster will have been a member of a #1 recruiting class.

We'll be very good, but what a lot of folks fail to take into account is winning a national championship also takes a giant amount of good fortune and getting some breaks.

With the new playoff system starting this year, it's hard to say what will happen. Winning a national championship is easier said than done, but we compete in the toughest division of the toughest conference out there. If we can win the SEC, I like our chances against the rest of the country. FWIW, I do think Miles ends up with at least one more title at LSU. Hopefully in the next 2-3 years, but we'll see how it goes.

We have elite talent on both sides of the ball but it is definitely going to be tough to win a title. 4-5 other schools are recruiting at the same level we are and a few happen to be in the same conference.

for a school that touts itself as NFLU yea we should win a NC in the next three years

TAMU is recruiting on par and some would say even better than us, same as Auburn. Tennessee is back to being a recruiting giant after the Dooley years, UF is on par with us in recruiting also. UGA is on par with us recruiting, and Bama has had the Rivals #1 or 247 composite #1 spot every year except two that Saban has been there.
Add in the likes of MSU and Ole Miss getting better in recruiting, UK, and USCe also, and nearly the whole conference is recruiting in the top 30.
We had 6 teams in the top 10 of recruiting last year, and 10 in the top 25 alone. This conference is loaded and just about each game will be a slugfest. I think we'll be in the playoffs "at least" twice from 2014-2017. Any SEC team that makes it to the playoffs in the next 5 years (the foreseeable future), should have no problem dominating their opponent unless it's another SEC team.
