Gerry Dinardo was the worst 10 years ago....until Saban started getting credit for LSU's revival after he went to Bama....then Dinardo all of a sudden became revered

Why is it so bad to say Saban won with other people's recruits (Dinardo, Shula), but you think it's OK to say Les won with Saban's?

why does any of this matter? I don't care if it was Saban, Les, Dinardo, or frickin Barack Obama that is responsible for LSU's success. I'm just glad it worked out.

I appreciate what Saban did for LSU, and also understand that Alabama was the best job available when he decided to come back to college. It's time to move the hell on.

First of all, I didn't say anything about Les winning with Saban's guys. I don't even care about any of that, when some of these rantards will argue for 20 pages over that.

Dinardo just flat out didn't get it done. My point is, once Saban left and everyone hated him, everyone took all his credit away, and started giving Dinardo all this credit about getting the ball rolling. Which is absolute bullshite.

winning a national title with 3 or 4 of Dinardo's recruits is a very tiny percent of the impact Saban left.

the biggest things were putting a fence around LA, getting our fans back interested in the program, & the improvements to our facilities.
