I bring my kid in the bar all the time. I own the bar so I do what I want and would tell you to frick off if you said something about it.

Seriously, the worst part of this story is junior losing his root beer. That really sucks. I hope someone got him a new one. I'm sure he felt awkward enough already, being in a "bar". The attention that the shattering glass brought probably made him feel worse.

My dad used to wait tables in a bar when he was 10 or 12 . Granted this was during the mid 40s.

Isn't it illegal to have a child in a bar that doesn't serve food? Not sure about NC laws.

I went to bars with my dad ever since I can remember. Just like he did with my pow pow. Was never a problem.
