I took James in Spring AP1, the first class without a textbook, and she did add some opportunities for bonus points throughout the session that weren’t on the syllabus. Hopefully, that’s the case with your session. We did have a 2 part project, but I did feel like the Academic Coaches were fairly lenient with the grading. Best of luck to you. It seems overwhelming, but it will be over soon.

Vines grades on exam #1 posted. He's right about being the partial credit king. Amen!

Vines posted saying that "Preliminary test scores ready". Do you know what does that mean? Isn't the grade that he posted a final grade?

oh okay. Do you think it would be okay to double it up with MADM 760?

Are you currently taking the course with Gibbs? I was curious if it was all open book as it was with Lynn?

Hey @Iltl4hlm2
I just finished up this Spring, and got an email invitation about a month or two before graduation. Dr. Kungu and Dr. Felice Williams head LSUS's chapter, I believe. Maybe send over an email if you think you're eligible but didn't get an invite.

Jeaux and AstroTiger, excited for you guys as you get close to crossing the finish line!
James seems to really change up her structure for MKT 701 every time she teachs it. How it's currently described bears very little resemblance to the structure I had when taking it back in the summer of 2016. I was naive and it was my first class in the program. In hindsight, I appreciated that as the remaining classes felt easier in comparison.

ISDS 710 is a bit of a disappointment in format and content. However, the first 2 weeks were the hardest that had over 150 pages of reading, case study, homework, and the forum postings all in one week. The next two weeks we only have case study and forum w/ about 55 pages of reading each week, so easy. After that, text book is done, focus on some linear regression for 2 weeks and do a couple excels, then a final. The grading has been fairly generous, so that takes a bit of the sting out.

I found MADM 760 to be very time intensive. There was a lot of videos to watch, team work, writing, etc. Then the synthesis paper at the end along with the group canvas.
Nothing was hard, but it really took a lot of time compared to every other course I've taken so far, but MKT 701 is waiting for me in Fall AP1 along w/ FIN 701, so that will be a fun finish.

I agree, MKT 701 is the most demanding course I've had at LSUS. Fortunately its my last course but it might be my only B. Finding it hard to stay motivated because I have ALOT of other equally important and demanding things going on right now. Poor planning on my part. Just got to suck it up.
So...it is a really bad thing that I haven't even cracked the project yet?? I'm hoping its looks a lot more difficult than it really is because she really overcomplicates everything else.

I have had a great experience attending online at LSUS. I found it thanks to the annual MBA fair which I attended last year. The classes are well organized with pertinent information directly relevant to real world business issues.Getting a masters degree will be challenging, but the opportunities that open up afterwards definitely make it worth it.

Honestly, it's not as bad as it first appears, she gives really clear expectations in the template for the paper. The template is 16 pages long if that gives you an idea of how much detail she includes in there.

Anyone still missing grades on the first forum for Module 2 for MKT701?

I do not have my grade yet. In one of the video chat session, James said that the graders have four days to post the grades. If we do not have grades after four days, we should contact Dr. James and Sonja--the lead-- will assist in grading any remaining papers.

That is true, but the template is double spaced. Our papers are to be single spaced with blank lines between paragraphs.
