I think she did that last time as well. Put duplicates of the same answer. As long as that's not infact the CORRECT answer....
A review of the tests would be great given how this course has been put together. It's fairly obvious very minimal review went into everything that was put together. Hard to trust the tests would be any different. Hopefully she'll give extra points. Will be taking the test tomorrow.
I really hope the grading is fair on this project. The scoring on it is even bizarre. A 3 per category is considered "Good"....but equates to a 75%. Anyone here taken MADM715 in the past?

Edited, as I took the test:
MADM715:
Today was "reading day" for me. I couldn't stand it anymore, so I took the test. Scored a 92. It's about the same as the last test in terms of difficulty and question make up.
The rest of tonight and all day tomorrow are "project time" and I'll knock out as much as I can. For the first time in this program (one class left after this one), I'm considering taking a day off work to finish school work.
Everything she wants is super fiddly and takes extra time.

Going into 715 exam in a few minutes relatively blind.... *sigh*
I just can't bring myself to read one more thing.
I'm hoping to go old school and layout my power points on paper tonight and then start slapping them together tomorrow.
I see that Module 5 readings are already up.

Anyone else bomb this last test for Econ with white?? I’ve done fine on the others... but completely blew this one. I felt she purposely was out to trick us on the questions..

Halfway through HCAD 750 and I feel more than ever like a fish out of water. I see so much terminology and conceptual information throughout the lessons that seem to assume a level of experience and competency in Health Care. The book is not written for non-healthcare employees so it glosses over concepts/terms that are 2nd nature to someone in that industry. Makes perfect sense for someone pursuing a graduate-level degree in Healthcare Administration, but not so much for the MBA.
Ugh... just felt the need to rant for a minute. All better now.

Bombed is correct... I worked harder on this test on material and once again it didn't work out. Those questions didn't even relate to half of the reading questions. I am so fed up with ECON and Dr. White. I have emailed her several times asking for help. She responds with, you got this wrong and follow the reading questions. Not enough actual help or teaching. The text book has errors in it left and right. The class is down to 262 from over 400 and the head of the program will not step in. I was looking forward to this class and she has made it miserable!

I didn't do well on this week's exam. I've made A's on the 3 previous tests but this one pulled from both the assigned text and the unassigned text pretty equally, which I wasn't expecting. I still have a solid 'A' in the course but I can't get any more poor grades on these exams or I'll end up with a 'B'.

Well crap. I don't think I'm quite as studious as you. I have a strong A (just shy of 97) but have scored an 85 on two of the three tests -- haven't taken this week's yet. I'm relying on the weekly paper to keep my overall grade up but need to keep my tests at least decent -- so your more studious effort resulting in a lower grade worries me.
I'd normally be nice and confident with a 97 but the strange nature of his tests have me constantly second-guessing how comfortable I should feel.

Well... they made it mandatory for the MBA Data Analytics concentration. I don't actually have much of a problem with this class in that sense. I'm learning a lot about how analytics can be applied and I'm putting that knowledge into practice at work. My beef is that the typical MBA student has, in my opinion, a much heavier workload because we're catching up on all the MHA terminology.
I also have a bit of monetary stress since I'm taking all my classes under tuition reimbursement that will not pay if I get anything lower than a B. I keep reading horror stories in some of these other classes. Trying not to get scared off... :-)

I'm in the MBA data analytics and I'm in MADM 760 and HCAD 750 currently first 2 classes in the program). The workload has been busy, but manageable. Looking at ISDS 710 for summer, is there a good pairing? Is 710 a heavy workload?
Posted on 4/8/18 at 11:24 pm to kcsims
On the same subject, are there any classes to avoid pairing up as the workload might be too much?

So how was the class with Colby Hennigan (ISDS 715)? Could anyone share their experience?

Yes, I'd love to know as well. Also, does anyone on here know anything about Kenneth Kungu teaching MADM 701?

Also, looking for advice on deciding between Lin's ISDS 705 and Shaughnessy's Econ 705 for Summer AP2. I have read a lot on here and see that both are recommended....but I am planning to take a summer vacay in middle of session. Which one would be more forgiving of missing a few days.

Anyone know anything about JoAnn McGee for ACCT 701?
Thinking about this or FIN 701 with Vines for Summer AP1.
Finance/Acct is a weakness of mine so I was thinking about taking ACCT first.

I registered for my last class. I wish it wasn't MKT701 with James.
I sincerely hope that it's not any worse than MADM715 is this term. Two crazy workload course back to back is not my idea of fun.

Registered for my last 2 classes in AP1! Figured I could double up my last session since I haven't burned any of my C's yet and I am getting married in AP2 . Taking MADM701 and FIN730

Won’t be done until Fall AP2 but I’m glad this is my last time registering lol! Could’ve been done Fall AP1, but I figured since I can’t walk until December anyway may as well not stress myself.
Anyone registered for Meeks MADM751 for Summer AP2 the syllabus is already up. Same exact format as MADM760 if you took it with him
