Totally agree with your advice. I did make a PDF of only the chapters on the exam and then added the glossary section from back of textbook. That worked very well. Crtl F is the key.

Thats a great idea, I didn't think about making a PDF of only those chapters. Search function is key. My video feed kept stopping during the test so the proctor would have to interrupt me and restart it while the time was still running. I wonder why the score isn't available immediately since it was all M/C or T/F?

I just finished, damn proctor tried to close out my notes at the beginning of the session... I was like hold on there buddy, this is allowed, had to show him the notes page from Moodle so he could get a screen shot, other than that, no issues, I forgot I was even being watched... search function was the MVP, as you've all already stated... all the questions were easy, but it was nice to have the verification. Having all those extra docs I made helped too, even if a bit redundant. I feel like I got a perfect 100... definitely an A if not though.

How does one go about extracting only the chapters for creating a separate PDF... next module I would like to only do that instead of it searching the whole e-text. Along with my list of key terms as well.

Definitely kicking myself after reviewing FIN 710 test. Simple stupid rushing mistakes and flipping things in my head.....hopefully can pick it up this week. These next few days will be rough trying to cram FIN in after just finishing up with ISDS

ISDS 705 should be the easiest class in the entire program if the next two test are the same as the first. No excuse what so ever to not pull off an A with it being open notes and open book with a full two hours to take it. You can seriously get away with an easy A without studying at all or doing any review..... of course if you want to get something out of the class you should.

Anyways if I knew it was going to be this easy I would have tripled up on classes this term instead of doubling. ISDS 705 with Lin should for sure be one you double up with no questions.

I'm with you! I referenced the wrong cell by mistake on one of my sheets! It threw my formula off. I understood the problem, just screwed up on my shortcut! Of course, it's one worth 3 points. :(

Yea, same here. One of the three points I understood the problem and knew how to do it just rushed and typed it into my calculator wrong so when I compared the numbers I was off and got the wrong answer, and then one of the true or false I read it right in my head...one of the ones about the x axis is ___ and the question had them axis flipped but I guess I rushed and flipped them right in my head.

On his syllabus I understood test two can cover anything covered so far this session so any insight if you think he will put a question or two from exam one on there for "review"?

Has anyones ISDS 705 grade shown up yet? I dont understand the logic behind not showing us what we made. I understand not letting us review, but we should be able to at least see the score.

96% here. Very happy.

Nolamom, that is VERY impressive that you only missed one question and did not have a PDF copy of the textbook to work with!

Hmm, I don't see what you're seeing. I show that Exam 2 is over 710-4,710-5,710-6. I don't think he will use anything from the previous section. I would guess he would only do that when it's a concept from previous material that leads to understanding the current material.
